Our organization is a specialized enterprise of repairing, selling and service maintenance of all the models of shunting locomotives. The railways of Ukraine and the countries of CIS are the main consumers of the locomotive repairing plant.
PPCC ” KALTAIR” specializes on the repairing of shunting locomotives of different models. Besides, the complex modernization is going on the plant, also with the replacement of the propulsion of the locomotives of different models and also above 200 names of spare parts.
The view of the strategic development of the company:
Because of the partly stopped capacity of production, the company wants to change the line of business in one more kind of activity which is actual nowadays. And the production power is desirable to use in the conversion of oil cultures.
As the oil-fat industry is one of the most attractive ones in Ukraine, our company has decided to organize a sector of conversion of the oil cultures for 100 -200 tons a day on the territory which is our property.
We see the following important factors in favor of the investment attractiveness of the market of the conversion of sunflower in Ukraine:
- ¬high availability of raw materials
- Ukraine"s key position on the world market of sunflower oil (50% of the market)
- high availability of export markets
- low barrier of entry on oil and fat market
- undervalued assets of enterprises of this industry due to the underdevelopment of stock market
- high profitability of production

Analyzing the development of production of oil crops in the territory of the Sumy region and the lack of such capacity for processing we see great perspective in the realization of this project.
The purchase of sunflower oil, rapeseed, soybean, seed necessary for manufacture will be done during a year with an emphasis on the autumn-winter period (the period of low prices). The storage and processing of acquired seed will be on the elevators of the organizations of contractors. The finished goods will be stored on our own warehouses.
The sales of produced products will be carried out on the domestic and foreign markets in bulk. Exempt husks of sunflower seeds in the collapse can be pelletized for processing into fuel pallets.
The territory of the construction of the plant is equipped with a railway siding and all the necessary communications for the industrial enterprise.
Our company would like to find a partner for strategic business development in equal shares (50 % to 50 %). There’s an opportunity of the development of new business in the agro – industrial sector on the territory of the enterprise.
